Croydon Hotel
What’s the first question you ask when you walk into an iconic bush pub? “Is the beer cold?”
Standing proudly since 1887 in the heart of Croydon, Queensland’s Gulf Savannah country, the Club Hotel is a true outback landmark. For well over a century, it has welcomed locals, workers, and travellers alike with hearty meals, a friendly smile, and an unmistakable sense of country hospitality.
Today, our kitchen—headed by chef Andrew—offers everything from classic pub steaks to wood-fired pizzas and fresh Gulf seafood, cooked to perfection. More recently, we’ve expanded our menu to include breakfast, which has become a favourite among early-rising workers and travellers passing through town.
To keep pace with demand, we’ve added new equipment, including an automatic coffee machine, commercial refrigeration, and our fantastic QUBI oven—supplied with excellent service by Robert and his team at Chill Pro Refrigeration. Just like us, they understand the value of reliability and great service.

At the front, our SPAR Express Supermarket features a petrol outlet, making it a one-stop destination for both fuel and groceries. Wandering through our well-stocked aisles, you’ll find a great selection of groceries and weekly specials. Behind our refrigerated doors, an extensive range of chilled and frozen products, including ready-made meals, makes dinner time effortless for those on the go. Our fresh produce section continues to be a highlight, offering a variety of high-quality fruits and vegetables.
Recently, we upgraded our drinks and dairy section to enhance customer experience. With a wider range of products and improved visibility, our new drink slides—supplied by Chill Pro—have made it easier for customers to access their favorite beverages. The transition was smooth, and we’ve already seen an increase in sales as a result!

SPAR KALBAR
Kalbar, in the Scenic Rim, is an enjoyable drive from Brisbane through the valley into a vibrant and picturesque small town. SPAR Kalbar is a busy store, catering to the local residents and surrounding country communities.
Stepping into the store, you are greeted by smiling and obliging staff. In a town where everyone knows everyone, a cheerful “Good Morning” or “Good Afternoon” is always part of the welcome.
SPAR Kalbar is always well stocked, offering the community a wide range of products – weekly specials, an extensive grocery selection, frozen and chilled lines, plus a variety of freshly cooked foods to go and great coffee. Open until 9pm each night, the store is convenient for those working late or heading home.
The store recently received an upgrade to its refrigeration, with new upright, energy-efficient chillers with drink slidesand an expanded refrigerated fruit and vegetable display, giving customers even more choice and fresher produce.

SPAR BOOLAROO
SPAR Boolaroo, located at 26 Main Street, is hard to miss with its fresh new look and distinctive red SPAR branding.
Step inside the spacious store, run by Shane Punton and his team, and you’ll find wide aisles filled with a comprehensive range of groceries, bakery items, fresh fruit and vegetables, deli lines, and our popular Hot Food To Go selection.
At the deli, you’ll discover freshly prepared products on display, along with delicious Hot Food To Go creations by Gourmet Chef Leah. Before you leave, don’t miss the tempting pastries, fresh sandwiches, and of course, our famous vanilla slices.
In April this year, we installed a QUBI-10 tray combi oven supplied by Chill Pro, which Gourmet Chef Leah now uses to prepare her mouth-watering dishes. We’ll also be sharing her cooking recipes and photos in The Nice Kitchen segment right here on our website.

Karumba SPAR Supermarket is located at 63 Yappor Street, near the mouth of the Norman River in the beautiful Gulf of Carpentaria.
Well known as a destination for travellers, a recreational fishing mecca, and a birdwatcher’s paradise, Karumba has plenty to offer – and so do we.
Step inside our store, managed by Bernadette and her friendly team, and you’ll find a welcoming country supermarket stocked with a wide range of groceries, fresh produce, and vegetables. We’re also proud to offer a popular Hot Food To Go selection prepared daily by Gourmet Chef Daniel.
Travellers, locals, and workers alike enjoy our regular food night deals, all freshly cooked in our new QUBI-6 oven supplied by Chill Pro.

Walking into the SPAR Anna Bay store at 118 Gan Gan Road, customers are greeted by our efficient and friendly staff.
As your local grocer, we offer a wide variety of groceries, an excellent range of meat and dairy, plenty of fresh produce, and all the holiday odds and ends you might need.
A visit wouldn’t be complete without stopping by our chocolate cabinet, where you’ll find a tempting selection of handmade chocolates – perfect for gifts on any occasion.
Gourmet Chef Cheryl prepares a delicious range of hot foods to go, including pork, chickens, potato bake and more, all cooked fresh in her new QUBI-6 oven supplied by Chill Pro. The hot food is then kept fresh and ready in our hot box display, also supplied by Chill Pro.
