Queensland Weather Impact: Heavy Rainfall Disrupts Regions, Hotelex Expo Strengthens Industry Ties

The ongoing weather patterns across Queensland continue to impact many regions. Our country colleagues have endured heavy rainfall of up to 500mm — an event not experienced in a long time — resulting in roads being cut, communities flooded, and significant stock losses. Their resilience through these hard times is inspiring, and our thoughts are with all affected.

 

This month’s activity has been slower due to the unprecedented weather conditions.

 

Our procurement team is attending this year’s Hotelex Expo in Shanghai. Hotelex Shanghai is one of Asia's largest trade shows for commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and hospitality equipment, bringing suppliers and buyers together to showcase new industry technology. As always, the show is highly informative and provides a valuable opportunity for us to meet and strengthen the industry relationships.
